So, heard about this grubbery from a friend at an old employment site. I put the word out that I wanted to try some killer breakfast burritos.
I got a few recommendations so I'm going down the list - not in any particular order. This was just the first response...
It was a bit of a challenge finding this place because it is strangely situated in a corner building under a law office.
There is plenty of parking - so that's a huge plus!
When I entered the establishment - there were a few Sheriff's at the entrance - happy for the meal they just ate.
The lady, I'm guessing is the owner, was at the register. I'm surmising that the grill cook, George, is her son. They were both very kind and gracious. Super-Friendly. Always a good sign!
The service was fast.
I will say that It's a little tricky to find because the signage can be seen if you're traveling south on the east side on the corner of Brea Canyon Cut-Off and Colima - just north of Colima - across from Mickey D's!
I ordered the Double-Bacon Breakfast Burrito - which is to say I added EXTRA bacon.
I also wanted it spicy and George did something I don't know many grill cooks to do - he ADDED the salsa to the burrito while he was grilling the ingredients. This ENHANCES the flavor of the salsa and intensifies the whole mouth feel! It's something I personally always do because it renders almost a SOFRITO flavor!!!
The burrito is SLAMMIN'!
I added retried beans as well.
Trust me it's UMAMI all over the friggin place!
The place could use a good deep-cleaning - aesthetically - as it has an "aged" smell & look - but this is classic diner grubbage. The look lends itself to anti-pretentious and backyard comfy! It's about the food here folks!!
I will definitely be back to this grub spot not only because the Breakfast Burrito was delicious but also because here's a community staple. It's been here for decades and they are friendly and deserving of my money. I'm hoping you find them deserving of yours.

Avocado omelette is not impressed .a bit over cooked .i would recommend beef breakfast ,burrito or taco are ways better .
If you are very hungry you can finish the big portion of harsh browns -

By far our BEST locally owned and operated burger joint in Rowland Heights! Wonderful BREAKFASTS! The breakfast potatoes are GREAT! Ask Roberto the chef to make them "Casanova Style" (fried with salsa then topped with crispy bacon and two eggs over easy), you'll love it I PROMISE.
THIS IS A CLASSIC "Greek-style" burger restaurant. They also do a killer pastrami!
Good people open 7am to 10pm 7 days a week! Weekend breakfasts and lunch hours are packed otherwise easy parking. This is nice and roomy for family after-church lunches!

The BEST chili cheese fries around the area!
One of the few hidden gems in Rowland, and I have to say they haven't disappoint since. I've been always going here after my SAT classes and coming back to revisit nostalgia, everything is still the same; a good thing. Their burgers are a MUST to get. (Colossal or Colima Burger are my favorites)
ONTO the main event.. CHILI CHEESE FRIES
My god the flavor in this dish is so profound!! Yeah.. you cant get that meaty bits that you see at other places but everything is there. Chili isn't too thick where it overcompensates everything else. They do have an option to add Pastrami, but I'd prefer getting grilled onions on top.
(Pro Tip: Did I say it already?! Get EXTRA grilled onions on top. Thank me later) -

Friendly workers and good foods! Love that classic diner interior with huge windows. Definately comming back to try burgers since I tried their burrito this time. Burrito was tasty ! Could be better with more ingredients. I heard their breakfast burritos are good. So I'm down to try again ! I see myself becoming a regular customer here.
